Hey people, I think this is the right area to post this, well the issue is not the infraction that i got, but its for what i got. I was posting a new thread about cancer donations that we have started on our site, that will help cancer patients. I was posting this on the general section, and suddenly after writing everything i clicked on post thread, and it goes to Freebies section. I also reported this post so that it can be put back to the section it can be on, instead of the freebies section, and all i got was a Infraction. I also reported the post, i didnt do it by purpose? What do you guys think, i think this mods here have been given too much infraction power and they are using it badly. What is my reason for the infraction? Thanks & Regards
It will be in the email you get when you get an infraction, unless you turned off the 'receive email from admin' in your control panel. You will probably get another infraction for starting this thread. Did you not read the sticky?
I PM'd a Admin but no reply that is why i started this thread. Well i followed the rules, by reporting it, which i think is something that you have to do. Please help.

You must have been a member for 14 days, not have an overall red reputation and have 25 total posts to post in the Buy, Sell or Trade forum (which includes link exchanges) or the Politics & Religion forum. If you had looked at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/faq.php you would know this. Your email seems straight forward to understand. When you made your post you did not have 25 posts. Thanks Brian
Yes but it wasnt meant to be in the buy and sell area.. It was a post in the General Area it was a charity help organization not something to buy and sell... I never had a red reputation, i got one after getting this infraction.
No one can see your infractions other than you and the staff and you would need 10 to get banned, 1 point is no big deal. Now you know that you can't post BST threads elsewhere.
Yes but i think 3 months infraction is abit tooo much... For a small mistake may be 2 weeks or so is fine now 3 months ??? daym this forum ppl are strict..
The infraction doesn’t restrict you for using the forum, just put it behind you and move on. Thanks Brian
