What would you type into Google to find do-follow blogs?

Wow! If you activate the NoDoFollow plugin for Firefox, you will quickly see just how difficult finding do-follow blogs are. They are almost completely nonexistent. I am running across literally tons of blogs that claim to be dofollow that are all 100% nofollow. I am starting to think that blog commenting is an enormous waste of time. Somebody recommended this plugin to me and it has turned out to be a golden tool. No, I am not affiliated with it.

You might also want to use some dofollow search engines - I made a list of such search engines. You can also try searching for keywordluv blogs, most of them use dofollow.

I don't agree with you that it is THAT difficult to find dofollow blogs. I go into google and type SEO blog to do posts for my sites sometimes... often i get back tons of results most of which are DoFollow. There is also a similar plugin for google chrome that displays page rank.. I use it and it's great.

Another way to find DoFollow blogs is from lists made by members on the forum. Use the search feature to find these.

Also try registering to more Forums to get backlinks
