Dont just buy links, buy incontent links

The value of link is important for each website and webmasters knows it.
But the value if incontent link is much higher. Its all about the relevancy for the search engines.

    1. If you have link to your site - its good
    2. If you have link to your site from relevant site - its better
    3. If you have link to your site from relevant site, from relevant content page - its much better

Always look for incontent ( in the content ) links to your site

    Good luck

i agree, that's why article links are usually better than a blog comment.

TS is absolutely right, in-content links work very well currently for most of the major search engines

Does anyone have any suggestions on good/trusting/legit services where you can buy high quality incontent backlinks? I am currently starting to market some of my lower ranking sites more and am considering paying for backlinks, but with all the junk out there its tough to find someone legit and that gets proper results.

True. Better to have incontent links pointing to the homepage, plus 2 or 3 inner pages.

You can buy blog posts on this forum. You can also buy such posts with incontent link from payperpost etc.

Always look for related website which is ready to sell you in content links
Its more work to invest and harder to follow, but it worth more SEO points

    Good luck

I never bought links, but one guy once bought from me 3 links for $75 bucks on an old blog post I have, at the end of the post.

Let's assume that the webpage is relevant to your site. Does it really matter if the link(s) are positioned in the middle of the content or at the end / in the footer?

Matt Cutts talks about crappy content vs great content. So it didn't really answer my question.

Does it really matter if the link(s) are positioned in the middle of the content or at the end / in the footer?

So my question was about the position of the links, not the quality of the content. To my knowledge there is no noticeable difference between having a link in the middle of the content and having a link at the bottom of the page.

IMHO it's not really matter with the link position since the bot will crawl or the links after all. The main important think wether the link is DOFOLLOW or NOFOLLOW. CMIIW.

Bing gives you a rating on the quality of your backlink under Bing Webmaster Tools (which parallels with Google and Yahoo's algorithm) There you can also see an obvious favoritism towards relevant and incontent links.
