Adsense Is Dead!

    Is it true? Can it be that Adsense, after 3 years of pumping billions of dollars into publishers pockets be now a thing of the past, as it drains its last drops from Google's wealthy well?.

    Why there's hardly any talk about of those 6-figure checks like there used to be in forums and elsewhere?

    Maybe it wasn't the 'Slap' that we should've been worried about but instead the 'Pinch' .... the pocket pinching of publishers revenues.

    Hmmmmmm.......... maybe the latest changes has something to do with it.

    What's your opinion?.

    It is still a significant source of income, but you should always diversify.

    I know some people are making good money but one of the factors is what theme your site is. Some themes have higher CPC amounts so you get paid more. I'm not sure if Google has changed how much they pass on.

    Look at it this way;

    Even if you make 10$ a day from adsense, which by internet standards, isn't siginifcantly tough for most experienced webmasters.. you'll still earn 300$ a month without working or putting hardly any time in besides maintanaince.

    Ask anybody out there, most would like to have that every month on top of their jobs. I feel fortunate that a great publisher as Google Adsense exists.

    I agree, i'm not expecting to get rich quick. If I could pocket $300 cash a month I'd be more than happy!

    Well, I wouldn't make any assumption based on that.

    But adsense will stay number one for many years to come, although the revenue is lower, it is still better than any other network.

    It makes you wonder thought, doesn't it? Is there really any chance for a newcomer to this game to make the kind of figures all the gurus have promised up until this point? I try to remain optimistic about it, but I'm not seeing great results so far.

    Well I can honestly say that there is life after adsense. Its just a matter of time unless you're already bringing home the entire farm and not only the bacon.

    But I hope I'm not representing adsense in a bad way. I mean there are people making a killing off adsense revenues but what about the little guys. Do they waste their time on something that will soon be gone or let it ride and see how long it stays afloat. Optimistic is good too.

    Yes. I agree. Everyone is coming up with their PPC plans. Yahoo, MSN, ValueClick, just to mention a few. So naturally, prices are going down.
