Is that why? Hope it can be fixed I really wouldn't call it a bump its basically down the bottom of the first page.

There's nothing to be fixed tbh. How can you bump something thats already marked as sold?

It is not marked as sold. Only the auction has expired.

It bumps it to the first page, but since the sale already has ended, it still puts it on the bottom of the first page (as it does with everything that has sold or ended).

At some point I'm going to add relisting options for ended auctions, but haven't done it yet.

Ah right. Well considering most BST threads are an auction the bump feature is pretty much useless.

Why not have a way to start the auction again or to change the status of the sale?

    Just so you know.

If you started 20 threads and then have used Bump in one of them,
then system will be deactivate Bump in the rest of your 19 threads

I have been facing the same problem as my sale thread being time bound... got closed and I was not able to bump it to the top. Hopefully, Shawn would get the relisting option going.... pretty soon! :)

    Exactly what I said.

If you make Bump it will deactivate Bump function in all your threads for 30 or 7 days.
    Example:
After you Bumped Thread 'A' you won't be able to Bump Thread 'B' for 30 days

Just Bump one of your threads and then try to Bump another :)

I hope so because it hasn't fixed the problem at all. The majority of WTS threads in the popular BST forums are auctions which expire.

The thread bumping mechanism should work for threads outside of Buy/Sell/Trade now. It does not yet have an option for fully relisting auctions/sales that have ended.

    Now I really am confused!

Why exactly would anyone want to "bump" a thread of an ended auction/sale?

Well I can think of reasons...

For example helping the buyer to promote their purchase...

But why would people really need the facility to bump ended auctions/sales?

    Am I missing something?

Or having once successfully sold in the past.... wish to open the sale once again for the same product (e.g. a blog post or signature links)!
