Hello all, After doing lil bit research, i came to a conclusion that instead of signing with the affiliate networks and sharing our profits with them, why can't we be a direct affiliate to the main product owners?? I've gone through some affiliate networks and website owners. The profit sharing is bit different with both of them. if I go directly with the product owner, I can get more profits as the owner doesn't need to share the profits with the affiliate network. what is your opinion on this ??
Affiliate networks have proper marketing plans and strategies which makes it easy for you to earn money. If you think of doing it on your own, it will be a hard task to plan your own strategy and execute it in the perfect manner. This is just my opinion
+ many companies dont want to deal with tracking, payment, affiliate contacts themselves, thats where they have affiliate networks for
i'm an am at a network, and one of the big incentives for a lot of my affiliates is the offer selection. basically (assuming no fraud infractions, violations of t&cs, etc) once you're in, you're in. you can have access to thousands of offers at a simple click, or rather, pull of a link...If you work with a reputable network and get an AM you trust, your payouts should be top tier, as a lot of the top networks will get ads brokered privately or exclusively through them. this also benefits the advertiser of the product itself, because that simply means more distribution with less work...some advertisers don't have their own aff programs because of economy of scale...why broker it to a million individuals who can send back 500 leads apiece, vs. broker to one (or a few) networks, who will still send back the same leads, or more. Feel free to pm me if you want to know more about working w/ a network. be happy to answer any questions you might have.
First of all, Thanks for your responses.... i agree with your points if the plan is to be an affiliate for multiple products. but my plan is "rather than being an affiliate to the network and promoting lot's of products, why can't we go ahead with the less products (category wise or product wise) and concentrate more on that products. and yes, i do agree that i need to work on the tracking, payments etc.. but as i am planning to get high paying products, I'll choose less products with high payouts. (I am on my research work to find out high paying products country wise, product wise etc...)
And I wanted to know whether this will work or not ?? if anybody already trying this or tried previously.... can let me know your suggestions.... Thanks, Jane
