Google gives power then takes it away just like that, they are ultimately in control of everything we do on the internet, every site is built with google in mind, everyone is striving to be no1 but remember this. Nothing lasts forever including the all mighty Google
Before starting to hate google, double check your own site. May be it was penalized for some blackhat tricks.
could be your server has been unstable... i just tried the site in your sig file and it does not respond.
Please answer these questions yourself first. 1. How old is your website? 2. How many link popularity in Google? 3. How frequently your website content updated? 4. How much quality on each your inbound links? I have seen many dropped websites come to conclusion in some weak points anyway.
its a popular website with quality link google crawl my homepage everyday and its a affiliate template in november with cafeine i have drop for all my keywords exemple one of my keywords from page 5 to 60 and the last 2 week i have see a huge change in serp all my keywords go up back to first page and this morning from first page to page 69
use site:yourdomain.com on google, if nothing shows up, possibility is you're de-indexed from google.
Well. this is my analysis... Google don't ban / penalize your site unless you use rigorous back linking or I would also call it link spamming. This back link can be contextual back or anything. google doesn't care. If you have spammed it as per google then you are penalized. I also happened to have a site which I launched in may 2009 and you won't believe it was in top 10 in 4 weeks. for the keyword I wanted. but yes.. I know I have got many backlinks to my sites through various ethical linking method and contributing on the web. this was an internal test so that we stay update and we got so many insights from this activity that it helped our clients and internal websites. We are now in top 10 with the same keyword with the same website that was penalised in may 2009. I wish, this will give you some understand.. what google wants...
There is a big update going on... at least for the keywords we track... be patient and give it a couple of days...
It sometime happen that way when your site is about to be moved to a higher rank. If you give up now, you will lose the battle to your competitors, the best thing is to continue building links.
oh well, i'm sure the drop made someone else very happy! Just concentrate on building quality links and writing good contents, you be back up on the page : )
Something is definately going on with Google. I'm seeing alot more fluctuation in the SERP's beyond the normal ups and downs. It should settle soon. In the meantime, make sure it isn't what has been suggested about your site not showing, etc.
Its true that google "dances" a lot for the past few days but I'm sure it will settle soon... For the OP : Are you even serious? You are complaining about your website losing its ranking when it doesn't even work? Normally that change would be a sign of sandboxing but in this case.... i think the reasons are obvious...
Ouch, that really sux... Mine actually went from page 13 to page 1, then to page 2.... I've been at page 2 to since April 4th, no more movement. Weird. Article Marketing has been my bread and butter to building backlinks and climbing the SERPs...
One of my sites is also doing a Google dance. Randomly showing up on pages 1 through 3. Might be some new update they're rolling out.
