Because all the good names are gone, I think you will struggle to find anyone willing to pay even $5 for a list of available names

    Grabbed 3DTwilight.com, worth anything?

I was certain this whole 3D thing was something a bunch of marketing idiots dreamed up to get people to spend money, but I'm seeing some high sale prices.

I agree, $5 is a bit steep imo.

Even if you were a registrar, making money off unregistered domains would be extremely difficult. Besides, BST is the place to conduct business, not here.

How much did you pay for it?
7800 was not to cheap IMO. in fact I'm very surprised you got that for it. Where did you sell it?
PS: .net, .org, .info, .biz, .us, etc, etc are all still available (never registered before) Rinse and repeat

    Cheers

I saw that one two month ago (3DTwilight.com), but didn't want any f*ck with TM's...
Hope you'll catch all those psycho twilighters and give you traffic! :D

ps: My girlfriend told me that there was a 4th movie coming out: so, you'll be ok for a while with the domain to develop it! Have fun! LOLL

    for real 800
tbh i wouldnt give you 1 cent for any list no matter what it contained or if it had 8000 or 80,000 i dont think anyone else here would either.
I just frown upon people like you and treat with the contempt that you deserve this is not a thread to come and sell

I think this guy is attempting to make fun of me Tattoos.

... it's all good either way.

    - - - - - - - -

Started talking in another forum about the availability of a lot of 3d names WITH THE DASH ("3-D")
If you'll notice, a lot of places - stores, articles, headlines, still market and use the DASH

I know the dash between the '3' and the 'D' are not ideal...
././ and many will also say that the dash AFTER the 3d ("3D-NAME") is much better
    .. also agree

.. but "3-D" still gets a lot of attention and shouldn't be ignored.. that's all.

so with that in mind... and the reality that virtually 'all good 3d names are GONE'.. i searched "3-D" names...
.. but only big names... Category Killers!!
(not '3-d Roller Coaster Rides" or something like that)

nonetheless... here's what i was just able to reg (and in turn, ending all renditions of said term with any format of dashes - with or without)

    • 3-D SEX.co.uk

    • 3-D PORN.co.uk

    • 3-D GAME.co.uk

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
    • 3-D GAME.org
    • 3-D SPORT.org

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
    • 3D-SPORTS.org
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

and this one may not be pretty...
.. but it still is what it is!!

    • 3-D CAD.com

    :)

    .

    That was why i grabbed:

    • 3dVampires.com
    • 3dWerewolves.com

just for the whole twilight garbage

Why is there so much hype about 3D tvs, and not too much about 3D Computers. That is what we need. 3D Websites would come next... Yes, I know there are some 3D Websites out there, but not that many.

we are already looking at 3d monitors and an actual 3d web using 3dxml etc just a matter of time some things take longer than others but soon enough i expect you will see "3d computer deals" at your local pc outlet.look how long cameron worked on avatar right now 3dtv is out in front as its perfected and a lot of companies stand to make a lot of money from it other 3d tech will come along soon enough and grab its limelight

It's not bad: pretty good actually.
But, I wonder why you weren't convince of my DN 3DGamer.org and you buy 3D-Gamer with a hyphen? Even if it's a .com, hyphen's aren't user-friendly...

I always prefer the the .com, even if it has a hyphen, you only have to look at sales history to see that. As you know, .org are mainly used as non-profit/charity organisations, and I dont think they will do we ll in this industry.

I hope you prove me wrong

The term gamer is more used for Gaming mag-forum: so the .org extension is still valuable.
People really hate to type hyphen: 3-D is about the only logical hyphen that wouldn't loose value. Still, sometime you come across great looking DN with hyphen & the non-hyphen twin is still available.

Hyphen is more valuable on developed sites then DN reselling. You never know: 3D gaming will hit hard & end-users will probably see 3D-Gamer.com like a good investment.

Hope we all do good on this 3D keyword. :)
