Just days ago I've released a report entitled Blogging Blunders (you can download it free here http://www. betterbloggingforbloggers .com /2010/04/blogging-blunders-free-report-release. html, no opt-in). It's about the most common/popular mistakes that bloggers commit. I still am interested in this topic and is looking forward to write a follow-up post. I'm looking for more ideas (ad to hear from the crowd). If you have stories to share (especially if you've turned it into something positive) care to write about them? success stories most welcome. questions too and advice too. Let's get the ball rolling folks! -Liane

My blogging mistake was really Funny..! I made my first Wordpress site 4-5 years back..! Installed everything right and i went to the settings page..! I was typing for Descriptions but actually typed those on the URL field..! And i clicked Save..! Bamn..! My site was no more accessable..! i really got Down..! Hmm then i took time to reinstall the whole stuff again..! but never repeated those Mistakes ever again
Well, I guess I made a few! My first mistake was to think that just writing was enough. A couple of weeks later, I realized that I could be lost in a dark corner of the Internet forever if I didn't initiate contact with other blogger by commenting, visiting, joining communities etc. The difference was very noticeable. Another mistake I made was to write posts that were way too long. I still write long posts compared to some blogger (mine average 700 words, but then, it "fits" the blog). Yet, now I don't hesitate to break a long post down into a series. Along the way, I learned series are very popular with readers - many subscribe not to miss the following part!
