I'm thinking about setting up a twitter account to help promote my niche. If I have 2 different niches to promote, do I need to set-up 2 different twitter accounts?

    thx in advance

if it have to, yes you should.
but i think its not need to have 2 acc even it has a different niche.
but if you can handle and update both, why not?

I'd recommend setting up an account for both accounts, and using a tool like HootSuite to manage the accounts. You can view tweets, and searches releated to each account, and even let other's manage your accounts if you have team-members helping you out. There's lots of methods to manage multiple twitter accounts, I'm currently managing about 10 or so.

Also Tweetdeck is good too..per Nick and Sachdeva, though HootSuite is just awesome, and I love it.. plus I like that you can login to your account from any comp, even a library and still see your accounts..

One thing that's lacking in some of these programs, is the available to do 'near:' searches, which is a bummer if you're trying to target users that are local.

By having two accounts, you'll appear to be "spamming less" in the eyes of twitter, and not only that, you'll be able to differentiate between what you're doing, and it's less likely that you'll get confused at any point

If I were you I would set up two accounts so it won't confuse the users as to what you are all about.
