Hi, I know some marketers dont like to reveal what they're doing to make money, but I'd like to ask anyway about the best clickbank products to promote. I myself owned previously an ebook in clickbank that did very well, but I sold that business. Now I am looking to promote some of their products as an affiliate. Any idea what works best? Any niche would is fine. thanx
I would go to cb-analytics.com or cbengine.com and search for products with a gravity higher than 100 and a referred rate higher than 80%. Then pick one that you have some interest in. This makes it easier to figure out how to promote it.
No one can really answer this, my top products would be different to anyone else because of my style of writing, the type of sites I setup, my design skills, how I promote them, my existing sites and their market / traffic... you just have to try a few things out and see what converts for you personally, then drop what doesn't and keep what does. Don't get too obsessed with gravity, it is an indicator but doesn't mean everything - look at the sales page to see if it is written well and if you think you could write about it and sell it..
You may want to look at these "best" clickbank products. This list is sorted by cumulative gravity over last year. It eliminates "one day products" that don't make it in the long run.
Ok thank you for the responses so far. It looks like cbengine as suggested above has some decent tools I can use for this.
Certain niches do better than others.. I'll tell you what NOT to promote .. Acne, MMO, Forex ... Stay away from them like hell. Conversions in as high as 1:1000 is just a waste of time and money if you're only getting a $40 commission. Al.
maybe try promoting Webdesign stuff? Practically everybody starting with IM needs a websitelanding page
I don't think there is really such a cut and dry answer as to "Which is the best product to promote?" I think it really depends on who is doing the promoting. You need to think about what your strengths are, and figure out what ways you KNOW how to promote a product...and what genre you understand the most. Yes, some products are popular and are a good starting point...but in the end, if you KNOW how a certain audience thinks...find a product that you know will appeal to that audience, target them and you can make bank! Or, if you want to try and target wanna-be filmmakers...then promote my product!
I hope you are joking,,,right? MMO & Forex are two of the best converters and money makers around. The difference between having a conversion rate of 1:1000 and 1:10 is how you approach the market. They are competitive markets simply because they convert very well. FOREX products have generally a very high conversion rate (This is maybe reason why one shouldnt promote them) But still, conversion rate can be as high as 1:10 for FOREX products
Should of done a search on the forum first, You will find that this topic has been discussed over and over again. Its hard to say which products are the best to promote from my point of view since I think there are many good products to promote and each have their pros & cons. I would agree with Al on the suggestion to stay away from Forex although Forex products convert well and give high commissions you will find they also have crazy refund rates
Actually I do unfortunately there was a spelling mistake in my previous comment, below is the correct one: I hope you are joking,,,right?
