Which countries are most likely to engage in a nuclear war?

We all know its inevitable with the growing number of nuclear powers, at some point in future nuclear weapons will be used by a country as a last resort in a lost war. Which pair of countries would it most likely be?

 

I believe it will start from Israel.

Why would Pakistan want to have a nuclear war with Israel?

 

I think that USA and Israel will together attack Iran.

I think no country start nuclear war because all knows that it hasn't any victory on it, beside you must consider global society reaction.

I think India and Pakistan are most likely to get into a nuclear war. There's a lot of bitterness between the two countries and no one wants to loose a war. Iran and Israel don't have any history of direct conflicts, so unless US provokes a war there isn't gonna be any. If US-Iran fight, I doubt that the war will be nuclear.

China with its expansionist policies is a major threat in South Asia specially and with such a large army its likely that any war with India,US,Russia will be nuclear.

I don't really like the question, I think "which country will use a nuke next" instead of a full blown nuclear war is more realistic.

I think it will be India-Pakistan, with Pakistan firing the nuke first. North Korea-South Korea is also a big worry.

 

Most likely initiated by Israel. They have made couple of failed attempts in past to destroy Kahuta reactor like Iraqi Osirak reactor with the help of Indians. They have to abandon it because Indians chicken out on the operation after Pakistan threaten to take down Trombay and Dimona reactors in case either one hit Kahuta

From past, what i have seen is Israel don't listen to anyone in the world (even US & United Nation) when fighting with their enemies, Israel will probably attack Iran or Arabian countries which might start a Nuclear war.

 

And Israel should start ASAP before Iran will get nuclear weapon...

Iran's leadership has specifically stated openly that it would like to wipe Israel from the map. That same leadership is aggressively working towards a nuclear weapon. Israel's choices appear to be a) do nothing and wait for the Nuke Iran has as much as promised is coming, b) bomb the living crap out of every site in Iran they know of which is working towards the development of nuclear arms. Obama gave Iran a free year of uranium enrichment without fear of meaningful sanctions with his policy of engagement. Now that that has failed, it appears that he will not be able to get even the most flaccid of sanctions in place, leaving Israel to act on it's own.

If Israeli bombs fall in Iran, I wouldn't blame them in the slightest. I'd blame Iran first, the U.S. second.

So Ahmadinijad could be an Israeli plant, put there to give Israel a reason to bomb Iran? Not sure if I'm understanding you correctly, but that seems highly unlikely, to the point of absurdity, regardless of whether Ahmadjinjad has a Jew in his family tree. Even if this theory was correct, the only answer remains the same. Ahmadinijad needs to go.

Whether or not Ahmadinijad really really desires to destroy Israel or not, he has made open statements that Israel needs to be wiped from the map. He continually sponsors terror organizations to fight Israel on his behalf. His continued pursuit of nuclear weapons leaves Israel no choice. Either way, it won't be pretty. Also consider that every other state in the region will desire nukes once Iran has them, if only to defend themselves from Iran and their influence in the region.

 

I don't know Ahmadinejad has Jewish root or not but rather to hasn't I think. but for me a possibility of bombing Israel from Iran is negative and vise versa.
I think with this propaganda that Ahmadinejad wanted to show, our government just tried to get more influence in region. you have to know that people love to have hero and a brave government tells what they want to hear.
I think Iran is more enemy with Saudi Arabia than Israel.

That may be the case but, in my opinion, Israel has very good reason to believe Iran will bomb them once they have a nuke. It isn't like Israel, or anyone else threatens a Nuke free Iran. They aren't talking about wiping Iran off the map. They aren't talking about invading Iran. God knows with Iraq and Afghanistan the US doesn't want to go into Iran unless the world is coming to an end. So one has to ask, why is Iran actively and aggressively building building Nuclear technology while at the same time developing the range of it's delivery systems? Its like buying a gun and loading it in front of your neighbor while talking about how you want to kill them. It puts your heavily armed neighbor in a very uncomfortable and unhappy predicament.

Lets consider that actually using a nuclear weapon is not Ahmadinijads plan. The threat of retaliation from a Nuclear Iran will allow him to more openly do what they do right now. It is well known that Iran is already sending people into Iraq, Afghanistan, and funding the anti-Israel people in Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon. Once Iran is a Nuclear nation, one could expect those activities to increase dramatically and become more open. Even the US would be less likely to intervene or complain for risk of Nuclear conflict (God knows Obama hasn't the sack to do something about it rightnow). It isn't good news for any one of Iran's neighbors. If Kuwait had had the power to do something when they saw Iraq building up the army on their border, they would have been stupid not to act. Hussein may have been a hero to the people for expanding his empire momentarily, but I'm guessing many if not most Iraqi's wish he had never gone down that road.

 

I think you're onto something here. It all seems like a big show to me as well. The people are being fooled into hysteria while they have a connection between them which the average person doesn't see.

 

I guess they have done ultimate effort to obtaine nukes bomb but they haven't enough sources to make it so guess they will buy it.

I heard some politicians and western leaders mentioned after Iran, other countries in region will seek atomic bomb. why they didn't try to obtain it when Israel had? seems they don't afraid of Israel?

I guess Jews and Israel owe Iran and Persian when we save them from slavery and returned their land to them 2600 years ago. they love Cyrus I heard.

my friend you have to know that dictators love power, in fact most of leaders love power I think, but dictators could destroy their people for this reason whereas in democratic parts they shown it is for security of country.

do you know Shiite governor of Iraq have strong tie to Iranian government? In Iraq Sunni and Shiite are killing each other and American just role as bystander. Just 2 millions of Sunni Iraqi fled their country after USA captured Iraq. USA never mentions how much Saudi Arabia helped Sunni insurgents there!
