A big part of black seo is the idea of treating search engines one way and people different way. Example: hide links with css, check user agent and if it google bot to show another page and others.

Just focus on the "good" white hat SEO and you'll be fine.

Excessive CSS play also comes in blackhat SEO, so avoid overplaying with CSS files.
Other black hat techniques are, cloaking, keyword stuffing in ALT tag, stuffing Title tag and comment spam. Few more tips can be found here

I find this again and again with sites and articles that you have to pay to view, yet are clearly spidered because their contents show up on the SERPS. So, i never really understood was the distinction was. It's still differential treatment.

You can not hind text in your page like your keywords, content or Description because its very dangerous coz if google found that they can ban your Domain...

The days when keyword stuffing was even effective at all are long over. Google's robots have gotten way too smart for that.

If you want to provide them with your keywords, put them in a concise one-sentence meta tag or welcome message up at top of the page, that will get indexed and look like a good summary up on the search page.

Blackhat techniques is generally anything that will get you banned, so be careful... Groovystar is right about Google - they are slow to pick things up but it will eventually happen. Why not do things the right way?

I would add Keyword stuffing, Hidden or invisible unrelated text, Scraper sites, Article spinning, Link farms, Sybil attack, Spam blogs, Page hijacking, Cookie stuffing, to name a few. Don't do any of these if you are in it for the long haul.

Google can't, nor do I think it will ever be able to pick up on article spinning, IF it is done right. Sometimes I can't even tell the difference between spun artcles when I read them.
