Right so yesterday I scanned my laptop and I opened it this morning just to find out that the local disk c space is 0! I was like wtf??!! I tried to use the clean up thingy but nothing pops up. In fact,my laptop is getting slower and hang most of the time. So I removed few of the c files to d. And I have 500mb or so in local disk c. But guess what? It suddenly turns back to 0! and then back to 500mb or so back? What happens? And my local disk c space is 19.5gb but when I check the file that is in it,it's not a total of 19.5gb...seriously how can I solved this?
buddy.. your computer has attacked by a Virus.. copy your important data to a Flash drive and reinstall windows. I don't think any antivirus program work at this situation. after installing windows, remember to scan your flash drive. use newest updated virus guard.

That's right. Your PC is probably infected. A whole hard drive format is suggested, but you can format your C drive first to check.
I'm still a student...I dont have money..If I format my pc,this means that I lost all the software in the pc right?Isnt there another solution?
he's right that happened to me too , you have to reinstall windows again even if you scan your laptop it won't work and the anti virus will show you that you have no virus it's all from the attack of virus take you important files and reinstall again
I cant take some of the software...if I reinstall it,I will lose photoshop and rpg maker xp (which was paid online to use full version) which are very important to me and cannot be install after the reinstalling process is done...Trust me,I tried to install them in other pc and it didnt work... And now this is getting worse...when I'm using photoshop,the local disk c space will gradually going down and I'm afraid it will going down to 0 and if it did,I cant use internet again...and I can do nothing about it because I already removed every possible files I can from c to d... How can I recover my 2 most precious software so that it can be install after I reinstall the windows?
it is the common problem in computer. don't take tension just remove the unusable softwares and frees the memory.
If you read my above post,you'll know it didnt work...yeah sure I can frees the memory,but it will keep going down again..
