Thks so much! I'll start a new niche and test your method to see how fast I can get results! But isn't it troublesome for the readers? From 1 article link to another article before sending them to LP? Will it kills conversion rate?

This is why I put the link to my AB article as the very first link usually in the first sentence or two of my article. These links that are closer to the top of the page are seldom clicked because the reader isn't enticed to click anything just yet because you haven't warmed them up to it. So no, it really doesn't kill any conversions at all due to the fact that CTR of that link in the first couple sentences is rarely ever clicked.

I'm assuming you're talking about submitting the exact same article to all of the places mentioned?

If that's the case they are probably rejecting your articles for duplicate content. This is why I said that the article you post to places other than your main directory should be re-written a bit such as changing up the first couple of sentences in each paragraph so it is viewed as unique content.

You mean 10 articles per week?

If that's the case you're looking at roughly 500 articles per year. Could call you lucky if you'd be able to make $6000 all together..

    Guys it's a numbers game. :)

Looks like there are two sides to this form of marketing. The shotgun approach of firing as many shells in the air as possible. And the Rifle approach, only taking a shot when you are sure its a kill. Both seem to have merit, I think its up to the individual to evaluate which method will work best for them (IE MORE SALES)

It's not only the sales you have to take into consideration it's also whether you want to be in this for the short-term or long-term.

The shotgun approach doesn't work. It may bring you a couple sales here and there due to the initial traffic you get from the article directory, but the best way to make sales from articles is having them rank in the search engines. That is the most targeted traffic you can get.

If you want to see what we're talking about, just check out the "20 articles a day" thread here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1691281

Not tryin to bash the guy because he does seem like a hard worker, he just didn't take anyone's advice in the thread and just kept submitting 20 articles every day. His plan wasn't a very stable one and relied on just the initial traffic from his articles in the directories and then they died out.

Yes he made a few sales here and there, but for the work he was doing, he would have been better off just backlinking the articles and getting them to rank.

    ^^Agreed.

As I mentioned, continuously submitting articles is a short-term game. There's more to article marketing than just submitting articles.

Some links wheels work whilst other fail terribly...

Apart from linking your main article from ten other directories, social bookmarking and high PR links on dofollow blog will help (forum profile links as well)
