    Hello DP members,

    I am currently developing a wordpress site for my employer and I noticed something in the upper left section of the background.

    This code is seen, " />. Please see the image.

    Please let me know on what should I do to remove that.

    This is the site, http://nutritionandhealthworks.com

    You may suggest anything about the site as well and all ideas are welcomed.

    Thanks in advanced.

    magiclouie,

    this is the offending line

    <meta name="verify-v1" content="<meta name=\"google-site-verification\" content=\"JQCgeLdiT5yjwwtNpJbmKp0NGjVl0-GjVBwAgKu_tQM\" />" />

    Note the extra " /> at the end

    Thanks BlastFree, when I tried to view the page source, I got this,

    <!-- All in One SEO Pack 1.6.7 by Michael Torbert of Semper Fi Web Design[224,258] -->
    <meta name="keywords" content="herbal nutrition,herbal supplements,weight loss,weight loss challenge" />
    <link rel="canonical" href="http://nutritionandhealthworks.com/" />
    <!-- /all in one seo pack -->
    <meta name="verify-v1" content="<meta name=\"google-site-verification\" content=\"JQCgeLdiT5yjwwtNpJbmKp0NGjVl0-GjVBwAgKu_tQM\" />" />
    <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">

    I am still finding that line for me to edit it.

    magiclouie,

    If you have already verified your site with Google, then you can delete the line, it should be in the header.php file, if I'm not mistaken.

    Do you use any Google Verification plugin? Did you enter that manually? If you used a plugin then surely it is making some problem for you.

    you can edit it in dashboard of your WP, then in header.php you can find that script by press F3 on your keyboard (find), then input the script that you want to find... and remove it..

    otherwise, you can try to search the extra script in your plug in (AIO SEO pack)...
