Hello Dp Members, Do new domains have high chance to stand in google at the first page? I am really suprised whether that is possible or not?
New domains that are optimized and indexed can get on page 1 for about a week, then they'll drop low in the SERPs (Google sandbox) for 1-3 months before they begin to appear "higher" in the SERP's.
It really depends upon if you target a very specific niche. If you do then yes it is perfectly possible because there will be less competition and with some good on page & off page SEO you can do quite well.
It all depends on what keywords, try getting first for "yuertustrt holltilot"! Pretty sure that's easily attainable!
Yes they can take this one that I got for keyword "government conspiracy" I am on page 1 and 2 on google it just matters if I am logged in or not for site "governmentconspiracy.net" and here is one other for keyword "Altoids Survival Kit" If that one I made first page with in a month and have stayed there and the site is "altoidssurvivalkit.com" The government site is maybe 4 weeks old if even that and not only does it have a good google rank it is also number 1 on yahoo for that keyword. what matters most are 2 things wise SEO work and a good domain name as from what I see it has nothing to do with PR if your shooting for a good keyword with out a ton of other people doing the same for that keyword.
Yes it is possible. Google works by tracking incoming links from other pages, but it's not necessarily the quantity as it is the quality. Google assigns each web page a PageRank. Basically the PageRank can be 0-10. It is better to have a few links from PR10 sites than a ton from PR0 sites. Your best bet is to build a quality site with original work that people will appreciate. It comes down to "if you build it, they will come."
yes PR is nice and all but as I said you don't need a high PR at all. I have come to see two things with my sites. #1 you really don't need incoming links but they are important and #2 you don't need a high PR as I really think PR is way over rated.
It is likely possible if you are targeting low to non competitor keywords. If you are optimizing for Google, you have to accept the one truth - The more competitive keyword = The more time and effort to use, budget may be too. I have tried to figure out the ways new domain can get high ranking in high competitive keywords within a few months and I cannot get it done. There is some exception case like Joomla.org got PR8 and authority status, plus high ranking in many competitive keywords after the first launch. There is rarely case happened anyway.
Yes it is very possible, it depends on the keyword though. For example, many people register new domains during product launches and try to rank for the product keyword phrase on Google, and people with the exact match keyword will usually get to the top of the SERPs for that keyword phrase with a little content posting and backlink building. And usually that can take from a day to at most 2 weeks, and two weeks is more than enough time to get ranked, if you picked the right keyword.
It all depends on the keyword and how good you work on SERP I make a website last year with new domain, and it went up to the first page (unfortunately not the rank #1) after 2 weeks it published
There is a certain newbie effect but after the honeymoon period is over the authority sites re-gain position
I have had new domains on first page for competitive within a month. In most cases it has taken 3-6 months or after a PR update. For less competitive niches not unusual to see first page in a few days. There are a lot of variables to consider. It also has a lot to do with your backlinks or linking strategy and keywords targeted.
