Are you still purchasing with paypal?

I use paypal to pay purchasing and transactions....no problem with PP...

 

I use paypal always...trusted..

 

I have purchased some domain names few days ago. All seems well.

 

I'm buying lots of shit from paypal. That was a pishing attack so don't worry guys they can't rule us.

 

Honestly I think this is just wishful thinking on our parts and that some days later either PayPal will announce this on their official blog and site and ban future payments/purchases FROM PayPal balance ORRRRR they'll pull their last stunt and go back and reverse all the payments made during this last month.

I use paypal and credit cards .. about 40/60 as not everyone takes paypal (yet).

Side question: isn't using credit cards safer in terms of disputing poor quality of service/product?

 

You can use paypal anytime , but using paypal to pay others is not allowed to indians now, due to new rules in the country.

 

Yes, I've been using paypal for over 2 years now for purchasing many things online and paying for offline purchases occasionally. Never had any problems with it.

 

Noob question: can I pay from my credit card to somebody else's without using PayPal or any other processor?

 

PayPal was facing a problem in India in February 2010 but they dealt with that and now everything is going smoothly.

I dont think there is any problem with PayPal.

I'm not sure if the PayPal mail is genuine or not, but given the headaches in the last few months, I intend to be safe and be extra cautious. So at least for me, I'm not paying out through my PP balance.

I'll be getting a credit card before making any outward remittances. Better safe than sorry. You never know how (or when) the tide will turn.

I am using Hosting from an Indian company so I can pay for hosting using Bank. .

.but I have to pay Namecheap & Name for my few domains in coming days.
Will it be treated as Business payment ?

I mean PayPal must understand it is not a personal payment in Abroad. As according to PayPal " If you would like to make purchases on any website that accepts PayPal, you can continue to use any credit card issued by a bank in India. "
Looking for an expert views on this.

 

It is easy to pay from a credit card directly into a Paypal's account without using Paypal... but I guess it is not possible to do transaction between two credit cards... independent of any other medium!
