    domain: ILoveIreland.org

what makes it special is that I have a Facebook fan page: facebook.com/iloveireland.org with close to 20k fans.

Any ideas how much this combo is worth?

I had just a welcome page there, but decided to forward it to the fan page as there is some interaction and content unlike the site, which did no have anything.

I don't care much for the .ORG extension, but if you develop everything correctly, it's not out of the question to be worth low $X,XXX. I mean, with the Facebook page, you've already got nearly 20k potential visitors. The question is, what kind of site can you build? If set up properly, you probably won't even want to sell it outright, because you'll be making quite a bit with ads revenue alone.

Take some time to consider your options, you could be sitting on something pretty nice. Good luck!

thanks. the idea is to launch a blog where one can read about inspiring people and places in Ireland. If I can find few contributors I ll definitely get it started.

I agree with BNZ's feelings about .org. It would have been much better if you had the .com. On a side note, I've had a similar idea to you with an "ILove(region)" domain + Facebook page, although my page only has around 200 fans at the moment. One thing we have to keep in mind is that we're screwed if the page gets converted to a Community Page by Facebook. Once it reaches a certain threshhold, you lose the rights to the page unless you own a trademark or business on it.

Facebook already wanted me to confirm it and as I have the domain everything went smoothly.
