Ive been using the dp suggestion tool to estimate how much traffic a keyphrase can get on Google, but would the Overture stand for Google searches aswell? Word tracker is only showing 30 searches/day for a specific keyphrase but Overture is showing 3000...
Word tracker result is based on a specific country. Overture is the collection of number of searches around the world. I hope that helps.

If you really want to know, and have a VERY accurate estimation of how many searches a keyword gets, here's a little hint... Throw up a very quick landing page geared towards the keywords you want to analyze, and start an adwords campaign and pay the amount it takes to get at least a 5 or 6 ad position. Let it run for a few days, and you'll know how many searches it gets by the ad impressions.
As comparisons are hard to get accurately ............ say 3,000 on Overture ........... make that 6,000 on G .............. just for quick multiplier .........when using set-up
