Need suggestion Joomla and WP

Dear Warioer'ers

Please give me some suggestion about Joomla1.5 and Wordpress, Which do you prefer?

Now, I want to built my website..

Just share my idea even though I am not Warioer'ers
I think both slightly aim to different thing. WP surely aims to BLOG purpose meanwhile, Joomla aims to use for content management.

Whichever you choose should depend on what kinds of website you are about to build.

If you just want to build a site with a basic usability and average dynamic features, use Wordpress. It is not a CMS ( Content Management System ), it is a blogging platform.

If you have bigger plans than that for your new site, use Joomla. I takes up where Wordpress leaves off and includes blogging if you need it.

 

It really depends on what you want to build. If you can be more specific we will probably be able help you more.

 

both CMS have there own weaknesses and strength if you want a blogging site probably you would rather choose wordpress for simplicity but if you want a robust and complex cms and wanted your site to expand in the near future probably you would rather choose joomla.

 

For something simple choose WP, for more complex website projects go with Joomla.
Anyway, there's always a way to migrate from one CMS to another. It is difficult but possible.

wordpress is simple and many free template with high SEO targeted. looks alike I'm falling in love with wordpress
how about plugin or widget, do you have great experience with this one? especially free tool

 

Wordpress is realy good ( may be because iam good in it It is posible to do different types of sites on WP. From 5-pages sites to web shop and online news... In general, all depends on your knowledges.

 

I hope your choice serves your needs. Remember , Wordpress is not a CMS, it is a blogging platform. If you need to upgrade to Joomla later, there are tools to do that also. If you should choose the other popular CMS, Drupal ( there are many CMS´s out there ) there may be a tool to convert to that one also, but I have not seen one yet.

yup.. I have learn about joomla and wp during my posting. both of them is great tool but wp simple and easy to use than joomla.
i built a simple web for my landing page. and put some adsense on it.
Now, i will blast my landing page.. to get more traffic.. more revenue
