If you have a thread in a forum that is sorted by thread creation time (Buy/Sell/Trade basically) and you want to bump it to the top of the forum, now you can. There will be a Bump option when viewing your thread. It's sort of like a bump token... If you actually have an important thread you want to bump to the top, you can do it once every 30 days (once every 7 days for premium members). The guts of it are a lot more complicated than it seems... but I think it should be all working ok.
This can be useful. But I am sure it will lead to more bans due to misunderstandings. I hope for a sticky for this in the said forums. To encourage you to buy the membership again
Ah I missed that, but still it couldn't run out at a worse time 7 days is alot better then 30 days anytime
That's a awesome feature.. But, is there any catch other than the time limit per account? I wanna know it seriously as there are infractions involved for bumping.
I think as long as you do it legally by pressing the "bump" button, it's safe. But if you do it "manually" by posting in the thread, then it's infraction for sure.
Shawn is pretty clear in his statement and there is no ambiguity involved. It is now legally allowed to bump his/her thread via the 'bump' button.... once a week for premium members! My Question: Can one bump his closed thread as well... or is this feature allowed only for open threads? Regards, RightMan
