I Am looking for the fastest way to get a new site indexed and even ranked. directory submitt? social bookmarking ping sites? what is the method that works best for you. lets share and help each other out here. Tim
Hi Tim, The answer is (just start) * High PR Dofollow Linkbuilding" ...this is the most white hat, powerful and quicker way to get a site indexed and in increasing seo rankings even. Don't build links through one way only but try to do mix of social bookmarking + forum profiles pinging...
lukeg32 that site is cool but i did not see anywhere to enter my info to get indexed fast. but it seemed cool way to check about indexed Ruchi i thought you should wait until after your site was indexed to bigin link building.
After entering your site, just right click on each of the links shown -> and open it in a new tab. It will get you indexed quicker than any other method.
You're wasting your time with looking for a "quick fix". You might get indexed fast using social bookmarking, but without any inbound followed links from indexed pages on other sites, you might just as quickly get deindexed. Rankings do NOT happen overnight. You might manage to show up in Google on page 1 for a day or two simply because you are a new site... but then when the Google Honeymoon is over, you'll likely disappear to hundreds or thousands of positions back in the SERPs without inbound links with those targeted keywords as the link text. I wouldn't bother looking for a "fast" way to get indexed. Start building links and let the search engines find you naturally. If you don't know what you're doing the hire someone who does... a REAL SEO. Don't base your SEO choice on how much they charge. Base it on their portfolio of clients and referrals.
I usually submit my RSS and sitemaps, get a few good blog comments and let the site sit until it indexed somewhat. Good luck.
Being indexed and being ranked is two different things ... being indexed means the SE knows about your site. Getting ranked is an entirely different ballgame and requires (as has been previously mentioned) a different game all together.
NO, not true, You wait to do linkbuilding until after you do your On-Page SEO. High PR Dofollow linkbuilding means that you leave your link at sites that have a high PR and are dofollow. DoFollow means that it is searchable by Search Engines, whereas if it is nofollow, your link will not be exposed to the search engines. However, I recommend that if you come across a high PR forum or Blog and it is NoFollow you should still participate in it. Because even though SE will not crawl your link, the site itself most likely has a very high SERPs which may represent high flow of traffic and hence that traffic can find your link. But notice I said MAY, because a high PR does not necessarily guarantee a lot of traffic. VERY TRUE... Many fail rapidly because they are looking for a QUICK FIX... And the truth is NO business that is successful was built in a day, it took hard work, perseverance and patience. TWO totally different things. Getting indexed provides the opportunity to work and increase your SERPs. Ranking happens four times a year, during the Google update... PR is simply a prestigious recognition and it does not guarantee high volumes of traffic or even sales conversions.
I agree with what most have said here. There is NO such thing as a rapid indexing or ranking. I can easily say that my blog was indexed within a couple of days but it is in great part due to the amount of content on it. Not to mention that my fiance is an incredible SEO expert and was able to index my site fast. Now, it does not happen the same for every site or every blog. It varies from site to site, keyword to keyword, and niche to niche.
To get my pages indexed quickly, I usually submit it to social bookmarking sites... that usually gets it crawled fast.
Indexing can happen really fast but the same is not true for rankings! For a faster index, just submit to a good social bookmarking sites like digg or even a signature link in a high trafficked forum like DP should do the trick! Regards, RightMan
Ruchi means to say that you should target High PR sites that are Dofollow for building links for your site. This way you get good backlinks from high PR sources. One best way is that you can build links on the sites that are getting frequently indexed. So that the next time the Search engine crawls that site there are high chances for getting your site crawled and indexed as well.
