Hello, My site www.beearcade.net used to be under 5 on google for the keyword bike games and under 30 for car games but before 20 days i upload a new theme a more attractive one and eventually i lost my all Search engine ranking now im not even in 1000s for my keywords can anyone check my site and let me know what im doing wrong and what should i do to improve it as i have lost my 80% of traffic in last 20 days. Thanks. Ankit. Edit: my site is already on no.1 in google sri lanka http://www.google.lk/#hl=en&source=hp&q=bike+games so why im onwhere in other countries.
if your website link structure is no changed then there is no problem in theme change but maybe there is other factor which was cause for your website.
yeah link structure is the same but can you please let me know about which factors you are talking...
Probably the theme changed some factors: titles, header tags, keyword density. Maybe even changed link structure or created a problem of content duplication.
How old is the site? How many links have you built? Could be a combination of things, new sites receive a sort of bonus from Google so this could be your natural ranking. It could also simply be the Google Dance and it'll be back soon. It's a frustrating thing, but not much we can do about it
One of my site get penalty too, but two weeks later, it come back.. I just keep on build link and update fresh content
im also thinking the same but if you know what should be the good percent of keyword density it is around 2 now and before the change it was around 3.5 my site is around 20 months old and i have built over 2k links and i just hope it would be the google dance only but i supposed to get back with in 15 days but it is over that now. i just hope my site would also get back but its over 2 weeks already.

Alexa means nothing as far as I've seen. I looked up my old site {before we moved} it told me I was 893 on Alexa. I only found out later that's an astronomical number. And yet we were just a PR 3 and otherwise nothing special, though we did get high traffic. ...I've changed skins/themes regularly on my site for years and it never seemed to touch search engine spot. Did you also change a lot of what your site said, textwise? That's what might do it. Especially did you change the title of your page?
