Yeah $100 an article is ridiculous. If I paid that much for one article I'd expect it to come with a page 1 Google ranking for a high volume keyword and be written to have a %95 CTR.
For entry level rates (1-2 cents of a dollar per word) what do you expect getting, really? Only bad writers or good writers with low experience will take on such tasks. 1) If you get a bad writer, you'll be disappointed and move on. 2) If you get a good writer, he'll be disappointed with how tough it can be making a decent buck, and... a) decide he'd be better off flipping burgers and move on. a) keep working until he gets access to better payrates from other types of writing, and move on. b) keep working until he understands why you want those articles, and eventually get into affiliate marketing as well... and move on. We always want to get more than we pay for, isn't that right?
Of course we do. Why can't people just see that and do super professional articles for $1 each? Is that really too much too ask? Lol.
Yep, forums aren't really the place to hire writers well at least not here.. I used to hire members on DP a while ago but not anymore.. Not saying you can't find some decent writers but it's a tough thing to do here ... the bad thing is they don't stick to your project, never hand in the work on time etc. Try Warriors or Elance.com Al.
$3-4 and you get good writers? you luck bar steward, actual native english speakers who know how to write should charge at least $8 for a 500 word article and that is minimum because with proper research a 500 word article should take an hour to write and seriously what is the point of working online if you are only making $8 an hour, my last job at kfc paid well more than that
