Secondly, how to convert XML to HTML.

For the first query, The best practice is to create all the page in html and give users an option which one they want to see, flash or html.
This way, you have the html version for the search engines and the users who don't want to spend time waiting for flash loading, and the flash version for the viewers who wants to see the creativity in your work.
