Details:

MyspaceLot.com is a myspace resource site (layouts, generators, graphics, etc) that is running off of an exclusive script that has been limited in sale to only a few people - I believe it was actually originally sold here at DP. The script alone is worth $150. The script performs very well in terms of CTR and despite the little traffic I'm receiving, this site is still obviously making good money.

Traffic:

This site was initially advertised via bulletins (before I became the owner) however since I've taken over it hasn't been advertised once by me. The traffic I assume is now based on word of mouth, but could easily be increased with simple advertising strategies. I haven't even done any link building for this site. I've completely neglected it and it's still sustained traffic. I swear that I've done 0, zilch, nada, not a thing to promote this site and increase the traffic.

As far as the specific details - the only proof of traffic I have for you is the Adsense stats. The site was never transferred to my host after I purchased the site back in July. I haven't been able to get in touch with the original owner for quite a while, so I don't have access to the specific stats. However, I think the revenue speaks for itself.

Revenue:

The site is monetized solely by very very well integrated Adsense. This Adsense is entirely within Google's TOS and is excellent. You will not be dissappointed with your CTR performance upon driving additional traffic to this site.

Through Adsense the site has made $41.68 in the last month. As I said it shows no signs of letting up. The amount per click is very low (as is common with Myspace sites), but like I said the CTR is ***good***.

I'm listing this site here on Digital Point first, but will be listing it on SitePoint if there's little interest. In my opinion I've underpriced the site due to the fact that its potential is through the roof. I'm looking for a quick sale. To go ahead and answer one of the biggest questions in site sale threads: "Why are you selling?" To be honest I hate Myspace and anything myspace-related. I only bought this site because I saw a good deal and a good chance for some easy revenue. But I've decided that I'll never be able to work this site to its full potential simply due to my disinterest.

I dont' have access to hosting as I said, but I do have the full site on my hard drive. It's a simple script that's not dependant on a database or anything of that sort. So I will be able to give you the full site and domain upon purchase, no worries.

 

Ah yea I was referring to the main page - to be honest I forgot the inner pages use images next to ads. But that can be easily modified if you're worried about google; however, neither this site or any other site running the script has had problems. Again sorry, I wasn't lying, I just honestly forgot.

 

so this is a licensed version of Greg-J's MS script? any fees/issues with moving the license to the buyer?

 

Yes it's a legit copy. I even have access to the support forum, but I'd have to dig through my emails to find it - I've only used it once.

The buyer has transferred the funds so this auction is now officially CLOSED. Thanks to all who showed interest. This has certainly been a good first experience for me selling sites here on DP and I'll most definately come here before Sitepoint in the future
