How often submit to Google ?

Hi,

How often should one re-submit a website to Google ? - Is once per month o.k. / necessary or is it sufficient to do it once and then forget any future submissions of that same site ? - How does it affect the Google ranking ?

 

Once you have update, just update the sitemap and re-submit it to Google . As far as I observed Google indexed the page in the sitemap more quickly.

 

No need to submit your site to google, if you get one backlink to an indexed site - you will also get indexed near instantly.

Just get as many backlinks as you can and you will have instant traffic

 

may be my last add is three years ago. as FavouritesBlog said, backlink provides to indexed site.

You only need to do it once. Just get a google account and enter your site feed into the google webmasters tools. It doesn't need to be carried out once a month. But make sure your feed is validated and working.

 

There is no need to resubmit, just put up your link on a webpage that is in Google's index and it will be crawled when google visits the site next time. Use your forum signature for best results =)

 

You don't need to keep resumbiting, once Google has indexed you. However create a google webmaster tools account and uplaod a sitemap and then keep resubmitting your site map everytime you add new content, as this will help google to crawl your pages more efficiently

Rather than submitting site to google,you can signup to google webmaster account and add your site their.
You will see the difference
Other way to get noticed by google is to get some back-links to your website by some social networking sites and social bookmarking websites

You don't need to submit it again and again...Once done is enough for Google to index them automatically..

 

Just try to be in touch with them when you submit it once. However if it does not work, remember to send a mail to google and re-submit it after a week or two.

One should submit sitemap to google only once... and as for informing them of the updates, use any pinging service to do so!
