    Hey,
I have a verified paypal account and i have 2 ATM-cum-debit cards from bank of india and bank of baroda, and none of them can be used in Paypal. But SBI debit cards are different, they can be used for online transactions, so can I use it for my paypal transactions, and it is now compulsary to add a debit card for transactions damnn it, they are making it harder day by day, not to mention the PAN card details addition :S. If not please tell me where can I get a "real" debit card. does any common bank in india offer it ?

IMO, you can not add a debit card or I would say paypal will not accept it. I have already tried it. You need a real CC issued by your bank.

Your thinking is incorrect, mate. SBI Debit cards can't be added in Paypal.

Paypal does not allow adding of debit cards issued by Indian banks as they are not allowed to carry out any debits through them... and so they do not serve the purpose of alternate funding source! :(

PayPal don't allow to add Debit Card for Indians to verify your PayPal. So, if you have real credit card than you can add it.

As of now... you can use paypal funds to pay others on paypal network as well... but only till they maintain status quo in their policy in this regards... and NO, you cannot use ICICI debit cards for verification.

That is because some sites like godaddy accept payments from only verified paypal accounts! :(
You can verify your paypal account via a credit card... or even an Indian bank account! :)

Yes, paypal verified account but recently my friend went to purchase domain name at godaddy and he has verified paypal with bank account but they asked for a verified paypal account with credit card attached to it. So that means they only accept verified account that has CC attach to it.

Godaddy is probably interested in getting payments from only paypal accounts which have alternate funding source.... simply so that recurring subscriptions can continue to be paid, even when there is no fund in the paypal account! :(
