My little autoblog project - +$107 in March from 1 blog

This will be short and sweet. I see so many autoblog threads so I'll give a brief overview of the components of my most successful autoblog which made $107 in March. http://www.8500x50.com

What you need:

A good niche - some people forget about this aspect but you need to find an unsaturated niche. It also helps if the niche is very specific. I chose a certain line of radar detectors so the keywords were very targeted.

Wordpress - I prefer WP for my blogs

WPRobot - or any other autoblog plugin. Personally I haven't found a better autoblog plugin since Caffeinated Content was pulled off the market.

Google Adsense - I don't get a ton of income from Adsense but every bit helps.

phpZon - Nice little plugin which I like to use to pull content from Amazon. It can pull the product descriptions and even the product reviews and the format looks very natural. Like any other online store.

MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer plugin - Automatically pings your feed whenever WPRobot posts new content

Google XML Sitemaps with Dagon Design Sitemap Generator - Gives Google a nice index of all your content.

My ping list - Attached to this post is my ping list.

My blog pulls in around 600 uniques a month and each radar detector nets me around $15-18 a sale in commission. I made $21 with adsense, the rest was from Amazon commissions. My next goal is to just scale up and turn out a small army of high quality autoblogs.

Many bloogers use WP Robot as their Autoblog plugin. Actually, I use WPomatic so what is differentiate between them.

Adsense for an autoblog?... Is it allowed?

 

I only just recently updated my Caffeinated Content, is it no longer available to new users?

As the other guy said, how do WP Robot and Caff Content compare in terms of articles that they feed you? I have to say that some of the ones I have been given have been shocking. Perhaps I'm too pernickety when it comes to an autoblog? Do you proof read all those that are on your autoblog?

 

WPRobot seems to pull in content from a wider variety of sources. I don't do too much proof reading. Occasionally I'll check the article list and remove any that are completely off topic. It doesn't happen too often but it's always good to do a little pruning.

 

Do you think WP Robot is worth the extra money then?

 

Autobloggins is strictly prohibitted for Adsense..!

Copied contents are really punished By adsense..! anyway.. you can try it up..! and if our site deals with pictures.. adsense will never catch us up..!

I run actressgirls.com and use autobloggd...! and making nice amount with adsense..!

I know my niche isnt nice for high pay per click...! but what i need from the site was Just visits.. and am getting a ton..!

 

Would u like to share how much you are making, since i got mine and not making good adsense money but they are good for traffic.

That's why I don't just use WPRobot for everything. I mix in a few of my own articles and pictures.

 

I've already made by the cost of my license so I will say yes.

 

Can you set the WP Robot to pull articles only from article directories? It is too risky to get articles from other bloggers or websites protected by copyright.

 

I can only find adsense ad on your homepage. With just a single slot, you made this good revenue?

 

As I mentioned above, adsense was a very small part of my overall revenue.

 

How long was the site established for before it made that income in march? And did you have to do any promotion or backlink building?

The site has been around for 6 months so this wasn't an overnight thing. All trial and error. As far as promotion and link building, mostly just social bookmarking.
