Hello I have been hanging on DP for a while... and got to know about Clickbank and i think it could be a great way to earn one of my very close frnd and i started this Indian based Dj website we are spending a lot on the Hosting we have around 10K unique views per month Avg ( Direct and social media ) but have not earned a single penny out of it, So i am thinking of activating Ads which would promote Clickbank products related to Djing and sound Production. i even searched for few, But i would want you guys to help me know how can i optimize my website in a way, we would generate Sales. Put in your Reviews or a product you think would sell keeping the Indian Dj's in mind. and Do you think its worth a try ?
If your traffic is mainly from India you'll get horrible conversion rates on clickbank products. Not many people in India are likely to buy anything online, let alone digital products. I'd suggest using adsense or clicksor -- for now. (You won't make a fortune, not in 10K visitors but that's the best option that comes to my mind now. Al.
Is it that the Indian visitors aren't of any use... anywhere else ? and our majority users are from India... i have also signed up for CPA... do you think that would help anyhow ? or something like the person has to fill in information to download that specific Song. ???
Its more a matter of salary. The Average Indian Income is $66/Month. Therefore its unlikely that an Indian would afford to buy a digital product, if he's not rich or have a more than average salary. On the bright side, if you are Indian, and manage to land a few sales on a daily basis with clickbank, you will get rich quickly.
after pro's commenting... i doubt if Clickbank could get any revenue for me... any other source of income ?
Clicksor, adbrite, adengage. There are a few options that you have, but that traffic is not worth very much. But if you can find something that does convert there is still a possibility to make money on direct sales.
Here is the BEST way to monetize it while keeping the site free. Let people download 3-5 songs for free and then they have to fill in a CPA Lead survey and they can download for 2 weeks uninteruppted your visitors will love it since it remains free and you will win some exxtra $
i feel Sad... that after so much hardwork.. the traffic that we generate... doesnt help us earn then what would be the use or keep it running ? should we sell it ? do you think its worth good $$ ?
seems to be a good... idea... but i doubt on the India traffic...i doubt if they would come and download again because i myself being a starter IM does not understand filling out survey's and i seriously doubt on them .. they would just close the website ?? any idea on how to find local advertisers ? or sponsors for the website ?
