SEO order of activities

If you were going to prioritize seo activities what would they be? How would u order these?

1. Onpage
2. Offpage
3. sitemaps
4. directories
5. local search
6. link building/pr
7. Twitter
8. ppc
9. banner/ ad buys

 

All together..... SEO is not one component against another, it is the entire process.

 

My process starts with keyword research even before I purchase a domain name. I think that picking the right keyword is very important and cannot be overlooked. If you mess this one up none of the other steps even matter.

 

keyword research is first one; second is the make use title tags; third is social bookmarking ; press release and then directory submission

 

Here is what I would do:

1. Onpage
2. Link Building
3. PPC (if you need traffic right away)

It's a good idea to keep updating your site and not just focusing on backlinks.

 

I would agree that keyword research is first. so competition analysis, keyword research, followed by on page, and off page.

 

All of the above, on the ongoing basis. If you try to separate and do those things in that order, you are loosing valuable time. Do it all concurrently.

 

I will also recommend the list of priorities above execpt directories since many directory submission sites are already spammed.
