No, you don't. Btw, Google Adsense not only pays you for the clicks but it also pays you for ad impressions.
Not in all cases. You only get paid per impression if the person who is using adwords decides to set his ads to show up specifically on your site and not just keyword based. I still think that the Google AdSense CPC Conspiracy is true
Don't know. I checked when i had 1300 impressions and 1500 but the earnings stayed the same. CTR dropped a bit though.
That's very right, I earn 0.90 for 26 clicks in untargeted website with lot of tarffic and duplicated news content and traffic from google, while I earn 3.0$ for the same amount of traffic in my niche blog . That explains why forums make less money then a website ..... lot of IMPS and no clicks, that will make your earnings sucks and the value of the clisks low .
That doesn't prove anything. All it says is you get paid less per click, nothing else. Whether that is related to advertisers paying less or AdSense lowering your income is something else.
Let me guess, you get more than 100,000 impressions per day? because if you getting only 1000 impressions per day, that's very low. Give me a break.
And when the ctr drops, so does cpm. It's a vicious cycle that you can only win if you have the traffic.
When I was getting 50K impressions per day with xxx number of clicks I made half the money I'm making now with 100+ K impressions and the same number of clicks.
Hmm, yes, I have to agree with that. $90 for 100K impressions is quite low. You should be making at least double that. If you aren't taking advantage of all those impressions with affiliate links and other types of advertising, you're basically missing out on a big chunk of potential revenue.
I think that if you are getting 0.9 you are way to careful with your adsense placement, try to be a little more agressive. Specially if you get the kind of visitors that never comes back anyway, then you should be very agressive. If you are agressive you can easily get 15 CPM, but its nothing to recommend if you want the visitors to return or to bookmark you. Note that I am not talking about forums or social/chat sites now, I talk about "normal" web sites.
Can it affected by the keywords? I know some expensive keywork can go to $19 and more, but some cheap keyword only $0.1.
I think that the poster have just discovered adsense and didn't quit understand the principle of higher traffic = more money, until he saw it for himself and felt the hype to talk about it. He tried to share the tips with us and for some reason, the guys with all the posts joke about him. I find it very immature, when someone tries to help others and ends up being thrown rocks at.
