Hello, In the beggining of this month whilewe had a google update i got good Page rank to my various websites and backlinks to.But slowly and gradully with the passage of time,my backlinkds are decreasing in number and now a single one is left,may i know why it happens ? if once google has given it then y they are reduching? thanks in advnace!!!!
How are you checking this? Where are you getting your backlinks from? What is your website? Page rank and backlinks are 2 different things.
are you doing the off page optimization for your site? if you stop building back links for your site then the back links decreases and the page rank also decreases for the next PR update.
Start paid submission not do more free submission bcz if your link stable on same page so how can google understand on which page your site link bcz some directory or blog after some time your link will removed so you lose your backlinks
Continue your off page efforts because some pages be out of index or banned or some other problem so creating links.
You should be aware already about Google and its restricted for links criteria. Each time Google does update, both minor and major, is about links handling. That's why most of your link popularity are tend to lower and lower each day passed. This could be a sign of low quality link building either, you may consider to see the current way you building links and change it.
What was your link building strategy? Free link some time get removed or some time the site which your site linked that may not live these happened because if the site owner do not get profit after some days like blog, directory, few social bookmarking site are day after day close the site if they do not get profit from their site
If you are making the mistake of building links in forums and blogs, realize that they may be gone in a short time. Moderators take posts down, eliminate users, clean the database, etc. This is not directed at anyone, but if you do a lot of forum profiles, many owners will take them down if you don't post. Blog owners may delete posts, immediate replies, etc. Build some long term links or keep you profile active. Use just a couple of forums and stay active, post. Be sure you update your own blog and post links at the end of them. Use squidoo , hub, or the like and use it for backlinks. Backlinks that you control are the best. Stephen C
I have same problem with my backlinks, in future I'll follow your suggestions and we will see results soon. It seems that my backlinks are not so strong in big "G" eyes and must immediately change my link building strategy (more artcles and forums, less directories and blogs). Thanks!
