Hi All Through years of experience in building traffic and links to my websites i have found an informative article or Press release that gets syndicated to Google News is a great place to start. The benefits are that once in Google news your article will get syndicated across many blogs and websites that pull their content from Google news increasing your backlinks. Some press releases and articles do also appear in normal google results under the section Latest News, these help bring you good traffic. Its a good idea but I eel like you need to have a well known news website to have your confer featured in Google news. Surely not all blogs will have the quality and renown to be featured in the news. Unless that is not true in which case please prove me wrong : )
You dont need a quality blog to be included in Google News All you need is a blog that follows Google news guidelines in terms of setup and then approval from the Google news Team once you request inclusion, which i received for both the sites listed above and the other 13 sites i have in Google news
if you mean what chance does your article have if submitted of being included in Google news, then its 100% if its unique, every single unique post WILL syndicate to Google news

hello sir and maam! about submitting to google news.. i just want to ask..how long does it take for google news to review your website..and finally be in inclusion to their program? I applied it 4 days ago..still no response...of course there's a reply after the submission..but saying to reply if the site meets the tech requirements.. i did..it's been 3 days but no response from google... how long does it take? thanks.. i need this badly... if anyone of you could help me..and pinpoint what i lack for my site...thanks!

Yes, it is absolutely right. And one can get here simply by the way of "Press Release". Although press release should be properly written and informative for sure inclusion.
Google news give good traffic in site if news is current and interesting. Google news is only approved that news which fulfill the terms and condition. bignews.biz is a PR site that approved PRs show in google news.
I think you should have daily updates to include in google news. You cant say that every blog and website should be in google news. Otherwise google may penalize you. what u think?
