You can do a search on the dmoz directory. simply search your domain name. good luck you can resubmit every 2 or 3 months so put it on acalendar for the next few years

Do NOT do this - you'll just annoy the editors and get shoved to the back of the queue.
They tell you this very explicitly :-
Quote - "multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites. Disguising your submission and submitting the same URL more than once is not permitted." http://www.dmoz.org/add.html
It can take years to get listed. Do it once, and forget about it.

Don't be ridiculous!! How could you give such a wrong advice to people? Your advice would lead his site to be banned from DMOZ approval forever!! I think you never read DMOZ TOS before doing submission. You should submit your site to DMOZ "once" only.

You will get notify from DMOZ editor if your site has been approved, if you are lucky enough. However most of them are likely to not sending you any message. You have to check it yourself. This kind of submission is a "go go". Just submit it and forget it.

most of site never listed .. listing in DMOZ is a lucky day in your life. i have tried lot of my sites. they never get noticed . so dont waste your time to thinking about DMOZ. there are lot of human -edited directory available in the net. surf it and get listing on it. people are only believe a best known one. they don't even get noticed a unknown .
