Hello, do you think blue links for adsense are always the best for higher CTR?
Even if the website design and link color are not blue, do you think blue title for adsense is always be the best?

I do not think a certain colour works best. Your ads should be intergrated well with the background of your blog, make it seem like its a link to another page of your blog, rather than make it stand out clearly that it is an ad.

I do integrate them already, but in the past blue links where widely used, since blue is the default color (still is) when you don't specify a color for your links in your html/css.
Links are still blue on google.
So I was thinking, even if on my blog links are not blue, perhaps having adsense links in blue would make them look more like links because people (I'm not targeting web savvy people) will identify immediatly as links and will at least read them. Whereas if they are of the same color as all other links on my site, it's not for sure that users will read them as they have many links to read on the page and adsense's link do not stand out in particular.

    This is an interesting question....

I personally tried to use "default" blue links in my site designs, but the clickthrough wasn't too great. So what I did was blend the links to fully match my site's template and also removed the surrounding border.

    The results were positive.

So hmmm.... I'm not sure, this might have something to do with the target audience of your particular sites = older or less computer literate folks (e.g. my dad) might click on "default" blue links since they know that this is what links look like.

But for other, more tech-knowledgeable visitors, I think it's best to blend the ads with your site's template, since they will easily recognize the paid links otherwise and avoid clicking them (I personally call it ads-blindness-syndrome, which affects me too = as soon as I see an obvious ad I simply avoid clicking on it).

Just IMHO, and I can certainly be wrong, but the tests I've ran on my sites proved that for *my audience* blended links work much better.

Yes, it's true that technical web savvy people are hard to click, so I don't even want to talk about this type of audience :)
But when I say blue links I'm not saying to use the standard adsense default color with the green url.
Simply use a standard black for text and url, no border, background same colour as your site's background color, and only the links (title) of the ads in standard blue.
So that the eyes of the common people are only attracted to one line at a time, the title of the ad.

I'll run a test today and tonight with a site with a red tint and red links all over. I'll see if making the ads blue links will have an effect on CTR.
    I'll report about it later.

I had quite a success in blending my ad to my content. I am thinking that better CTR is more on the ad placement. Also, I noticed that 336x280 works best for me.

The test I've ran for 24 hours with over 100,000 ad impressions showed no significant change to the CTR or CPC when I switch all ads title color to standard blue instead of red.
After that I set back all title colors to red, but I let only one ad (the first one, best CTR and CPC) with blue color. Still no significant change either way.

So I guess it doesn't make a difference, strange but that's the result of my little test.

I have been reading your posts on how you have managed to get good clicks from "masses" and so the present logic of using the default color of blue would definitely be helping you in making people click them... as 'not so savvy' people would be identifying such links to be a good informative source! :)
As regards the test, I would request you to run the test for a little longer period instead of just 24 hours!

    Regards,

If blue is the best for Adsense why would Digital Point use a different color.
The best thing is to get Ad blended with your web content.

Blue link tend to get more attention and click, but i usually go with blending my ads with background and link colors, to make them look part of my website design.

I think there are way too many factors to pinpoint just one. You have to consider audience, site colors, location on site...it hurts my head sometimes.

One thing I have learned is that centrally located ads within text get a better clickthrough then add off to the sides or at the bottom. Attract the mouse near the ad and you'll have a better chance of getting a click.

Joel Comm is (or was) well known for his Adsense expertise. His recommendation is blue links. Blend everything else into your page, but use the blue links.

So, I would set my pages up first like that and see how it goes. If not good, try a different color. Personally, I don't think there is one solid answer for every site on the net. It is a matter of testing and using what is best for a particular site.

I'm quite a fan of blue and red links. Guess you need to decide whether to blend your ads or make them stand out. I find that red is a very stand out colour, but have slightly better results with blue. (with black text, url)

The opinions are sure varied here.

I used to believe in all blue. Very low CTR.
I noticed other successful sites were making the links a similar color
    to the header graphic/theme colors.

3 sites I changed. CTR improved dramatically.

    But that's just for me.

I always believe that you have to make the adsense stand out in the
    most easy-on-the-eyes way as possible.

I do like the white background.

When I first started, I insisted on blue links. I was old fashioned and thinking
that because links are supposed to be blue (or purple) that's what I needed
so people would know they are links. But over the the years, link color has
morphed. People now don't expect hyperlinks to be just blue. There is no
    normal color anymore.
