Adsense traffic question.

Hi, I want to sign up to a traffic program, which places a banner link (on someone elses site) to my website, however the guy says that each visit I will get will have the same referrer. My questions is, will this get my adsense accopunt banned?

Also does anybody know of a legit traffic source for adsense? Thanx.

I don't think will get your site banned, you get the same referrer because it will be the site that your banner is in. I think this is normal.

    ok thanks.

I dont think all the traffic is coming from the guys website, he promises 10,000 visitors, so i think it will be coming from a number of different websites, but going through his server, so would 10,000 hits through the same referrer be deemed as non legit (in GG's eyes)??

    thanks again...

Yes it will, keep away from those kind of traffic schemes, honestly. You can read it in AdSense's policies and/or Google Webmaster's Guidelines (which you also have to comply to as part of AdSense TOS)

Sorry, I don't know of any, even adwords is not so safe, it depend on the quality of your landing page, plus adwords can be expensive.
An option to explore would be a paid post in a white hat blog with big readership, that could proove expensive as well.

Yes, your account might be ban because it's against google adsense TOS.

To pay for a blog post, ideally you would find with google/blogs some blogs recently updated and talking about the topic you want. Then contact the authors directly. That will be harder but best quality.

Otherwise you can go on a paid for write on blogs platform, I'll let you find the names, such as reviewme.com but honestly the quality of blogs there won't be so good, but at least it's easy.
You have to choose, but honestly I would only pay an author I contacted directly after checking his blog's maintenance (regularity of posts, content) and stats (alexa rank, etc) and redearship (via comments)

Banner or link exchange still good for increased more traffic.
