I send them an email and they canceled my 7tha and 8th Withdraws.They credit back 250 INR as Fees reversal but I think I still lost about 204 in each transaction due to currency conversion. any one got these currency charges reversed
to all guys I have called and talked to higher authorities of paypal and they said that there is some problem with Indian regularities so they are making some important changes this is why the bank withdraws are stuck. They suggested to not cancel these payments but to wait for full 7 BANKING days and if you still didn't receive your money then they ll be able to open a dispute about it. So the moral of the story is to wait for couple of days. I hope we ll be enjoying weekends.
Well guys i got mine cancelled it was no use keep it in pending status specially when paypal is willing to return everything back without fees
I called those paypal customer service but they are saying they cannot cancel my withdrawal requests till 14 days gets completed WTF man !! Dude, can you please tell me what did u say to those guys when u called them to cancel your request?
PayPal has broken all records for being utterly useless. Every time it seems that things are getting in order, the payments get stuck. Isn't there any other alternative? There has to be some resource besides this...I keep seeing ads of moneybookers and something called swreg, anybody know about this stuff??
I also get the transaction canceled with the help of Indian123 . I patiently explained the WHOLE situation to them and asked them to cancel it WITHOUT charging me anything because it was THEIR fault.. talk in a polite and confident manner and the chances are that the next CC person will listen to you. Also, I got the deducted money (that was done bcoz of the currency fluctuations) after calling up the customer care . PS: @everybody had the exchange rate reduced instead of increasing during this week, we would have got more dollars, right? then how many of us would have asked for the adjustment LOL
Today is 7 working days complete from 7th april , not sure whether I will go ahead and cancel the withdrawal.
Get it canceled email coz i got mine cancelled and they said ill get all the fees and currency fluctuations also returned within 1-3 days and also the withdrawal i made again is already completed
No it is not the case that only 1 person has the withdrawal/status stuck . My guess they would already be aware of this and will put those transactions in the queue soon.
I made two withdrawals - one last week and one day before. Received both amounts easily. Are you guys still experiencing some problems off and on ?
