How to transfer wordpress blog from one domain name to another domain name?

I have a wordpress blog which I need to transfer from one domain name to another.
My domain I was using was a co.cc domain name and they took my domain name as I was getting traffic to that domain name.Now I cant login to that co.cc.
So here I cant import the files from the Tools option in wordpress.
I want to know how can you transfer the blog from one domain name to another domain name while copying all the posts,images,gallery,comments&all other details and settings.

I've tried transferring blogs fro one domain to another before.. But i haven't tried transferring almost the whole content.. I'll try to find a tool for that.! But so far its so hard to do..

first backup your database, and download all files in your current domain.

create a new database in your new domain hosting.then upload all files to new domain and change wp-config.php to your new database details.

and go to database admin and import database backup files.

now you have moved your blog.

 

There is a section on the wotdpress site that explains how to do it. I was looking for it but could not find it. What you want to do isn't very complicated, I jut can't remember the necessary steps.

You have to copy all files and put them to a new domain. Change wp-config.php and that's it

 

Which fields in wp-config should I change,I am getting this error while moving the database
"1062 - Duplicate entry '' for key 2 error "

I was writing a tutorial and figured out that you were changing domains. I switched hosts which is a bit different. Hope you get it sorted out

My hosting provider is no longer supporting the free WordPress blog service, so I need to find a new home also.
