I have very basic skills of using Photoshop and really interested to pick up more. Reasons being I am sick of outsourcing the graphic design works to others, it cost me a lot of money. Need advice what are the fast track way to learn Photoshop ? should I pick up photoshop video course, attending Photoshop class ? or just pick up Photoshop book from local book store ? Thank you.
don't wast your money.. there is a free tutorial video site in the INTERNET. for Photoshop or anything. it's YouTube. metacafe also good. I have learned many design techniques from youtube.
I need a series of videos that show me from A-Z, assuming starting from scratch with no basics whatsoever. Most videos I came across just focus on specific trick. If you know of a single place where can I find all videos, that will be great.
That's a great site. They even have tutorial for different versions of Photoshop. However, it costs $25/month. Anyway, if there is no free option then I am more than glad to pay for it.
Theres a series of books for the Adobe products. Look for 'Photoshop CS4 Classroom in a book' if you have CS4. I'm reading the Illustrator CS4 one at the moment and it starts from the basics and works upwards- it has a CD with instructions to do a few 'lessons' etc. The best way is just to practice to be honest. I started from 'level 0' so to speak, and feel fairly confident on photoshop. Grasp the basics, and if you want to do something in particular, google really is your best friend!
the best way for me to learn photoshop is video tutorials plus practice of course. there's a lot of video tutorials on the web. As they say, google is your friend.
