I am reading more and more that DMOZ has become infiltrated with corrupt editors, many who have MULTIPLE DMOZ listings for their OWN sites. When the rest of us have found it impossible to get listed AT ALL! After SIX years I have given up!
I am a moderator for an extremely small category. After I got my site listed I still approved other submissions. But there are some people that will just get their sites listed and not really list other sites. Either way, dont sweat DMOZ. No one cares about it anymore.
I never tried submitting to DMOZ but I heard it's very unlikely to get listed, so don't worry about it as aaron_nimocks said.
I am in the same boat as you! I guess... many people have simply not even thought of getting their sites listed there... simply because of the impossibility involved in doing so! Regards, RightMan

Hi, dontpassup In my own experiences, it is meaningless to get sites listed on DMOZ these days when comparing with the efforts for such listing. We have many channels in building quality backlinks and generating traffics for free like social bookmarking and social networking. Have a nice day,
why u all are commenting about Dmoz. i have tried DMOZ for many of my site. finally i agree that DMOZ never ever listed any thing.. Dmoz is unlucky to maintain
