i personally have found blog commenting to be a waste of time. no blog admins will keep my link,no matter how relevant the comment is.

 

"Parasiting" is not effective. Don't do it. (Unless, of course, you're providing useful content and not just keyword spamming.)

And pinging is basically submitting your URL (or the URL of your hub, article, etc.) to a specific website which will in turn attract Google's spider bots so your page is indexed (or reindexed) faster than it might have been naturally.

No real secrets have been shared here! Content and updated at that is the best way to get good results.

 

I think they are just making fun but those are also useful in SEO.

Yea these are good information and methods to promote your site or optimize your site. But it has nothing to do with "quickest way to google first page". It's all about competition. I'll put an extreme example, try the keyword "Google" and follow his steps. Let me know if you get onto google first page.
