I was wondering what was better... to link directly to your affiliate page/frame with affiliate link? Or to link to a review page? I will probably try both, but I am curious to see what others say. thanks
product reviews almost always beat out direct linking. BUT I have had tattoo products does better direct linking before the google slap
You'll need a proper review mate. People in general love to see what the product is all about before making the purchase, thus you'll need to review it as you are a "happy customer". Al.
Well I haven't been in this game long and before I had even heard of AM I actually believed a review page was a genuine review. Maybe I am just naive but that is why people appreciate review pages - because they think they are getting a genuine review!! Boy do I know differently now!
Exactly.. and not only that.. But you're selling trust to your clients which will eventually lead you a sale or two. Al.
I am not clear about CB policy in regards to frames, their TOS is simply not clear in that regards. One time they say its invalid links, then they say frames are ok if they open on top. At this point i would be careful risking it since i earn too much to do something where i don't know its ok or not. BEST converting is still pre-sale review pages for me. Takes some work, but pays off.
GeorgeR you can always send them an email and ask them ... I've personally never used this technique and won't either. I like clean review pages.. none of that redirect/iframe crap. People need to read a review before actually pulling their wallets out .. Long story short ... There's tons of affiliates using frames, I suppose Clickbank doesn't have anything agaisnt it, at least vendors don't. Al.
