Do Affiliates want payments thru Moneybookers?

Hi All,

I signed up for a MoneyBookers account in mid March. However, I still haven't received my address verification code. Talking to customer service didn't go well. I do have PayPal and Google Checkout, but want Moneybookers for Affiliates who might not have PP or GC. I've read some scary things on here about MB.

So how important is MB to Affiliates? If you guys need it, I will pursue (wait for) verification, but if it's not that important, I will abandon my mission. Your feedback is appreciated.

Since Moneybookers is preferred by the Europeans, i believe is a good alternative if you have such affiliates.

 

Thanks nimonogi - I'm gearing up for my product launch and after much research, I'm trying to get as many resources and tools as possible for my affiliates.

 

They have ban my account with no reason. Dont go with MB.

I have 1458$ in my account. They havent replied me since last August.

 

Ouch! It's information like this why I'm worried about signing up with them. If my money gets frozen then what good will it be for the Affiliates? Thanks again and sorry to hear this. My only suggestion for you is to call them and use the prompts for customers instead of merchants. Each time I called customer service and pressed the numbers for merchants, I got disconnected. Finally I pressed the numbers as a customer and I got a live person. I think this is a major red flag.

 

I have called them 100 times, but they have no reason why they have banned my account.

I'm using them since 2005. I've received the verification mail on time. once they disabled my money with cash too. but after contacting the support, the trouble got solved. Its advisable to use them since lotta people from Europe prefers it

Does anyone know if I can still use them to pay my affiliates by transfering money into the account without being verified? I would like to have this option available for Affiliates, but I might not use them to accept payments from customers on my site. Thanks again everyone.

 

i think you can still send people money but the verification thing will lift your sending power more.
