I've been running both Google Ads and Feedburner ads or FAN. FAN is a CPM based ads, my blog recieves about 5000 hits daily and FAN pay 7$ flat per 1000 hits this way I've been earning 35$ a day.

where as I earn only 5$ per day from adsense. Trust me guys Feedburner rocks !!

When you say 5000 hits, do you mean 5000 visitors or page impressions?

yea, if you have 5000 clicks daily, then your visitors must be a much bigger number than that.

He means 5k page impressions. uniques should be less than that,
what he is saying is, for every 1k he gets 7k. so for 5k page impressions he gets 7x5=35$.

They pay $7 per 1000 raw hits? That doesn't sound right. Can you clarify?

I think they pay $7 for 1000 page impressions for you to show their ads. $7 cpm is not too bad, is it?

I think it's way too high to be true. I have websites that reach over 300,000 hits a day... with this I could get paid $2100/day for raw impressions. That's way too much...

I still hope it's true though. Clarification please! :p

You'll need to have signed up to FeedBurner first, which effectively clones you blog's RSS feed to a new place (e.g. feeds.feedburner.com/YourBlogHere). The FeedBurner Ad Network then automatically inserts ads into it. Your original blog remains unaltered. You then attempt to drive all your traffic though your FeedBurner site instead, and possibly get revenue through F.A.N. Examples here.

I have a FeedBurner site (here), but I've not tried using the ads on it yet...

PS: When I log into my FeedBurner account, and click on the "Monetize" tab, I get this message (I've highlighted the key phrase):

Basically, you need to have a decent amount of subscribers and regular updates before they'll consider you having ads.

So we are no longer able to put Adsense in our Feedburner account.
Time to find a new RSS provider, that's for sure.
