Value of PR0 backlinks

Hi all,

What is a PR0 backlink actually worth?

Example:
If there is a news website that has your website link + anchor text in each of the newsposts. After the PR update the articles become PR0 because they didn't have enough backlinks for PR1 or higher.

Are they useless without PR1 or higher or are they still valuable in huge amounts + the right anchor text for your Pagerank and/or keyword ranking.

Of course they are still valuable...depends on the amount of links and mostly the amount of outbound links from that page

 

A link is a link. I wouldn't refuse PR0 backlinks from indexed pages on some authority domain.
If it's free and you can get your anchor text as well... sounds like a good deal to me

True, after i made this post i was reading this topic "will 1000 PR0 backlinks do me any good?". Even if they are PR0 right now, they can still become higher later and give you a good boost .

 

For people who want to see their page rank updated in next google pr update, 1000 PR 0 links can get you from PR 0 to PR 2 hopefully and if the links are PR 1 then you just need 400 of those to get PR3 for your site in next update.

A link is Link no matter if it's PR0 which are today PR0 tomorrow it can be PR1 and Google valued every Link so you will get link juice from a PR0 link too

PR0 does not always mean zero value. Even PR level in Google has a big different between each level. If use old Google PR theory as reference, PR4 - PR5 - PR6 has a huge gap to climb up for each level. Even two sites with the same PR level still have different in value.

Bottom Line : PR is not an indicator for anything anymore.

 

well, actually its not PR 0, but 0,xxx. So if you have backlink from PR0, you still get link juice 0.0xxx

 

they worth their weight in gold..don't forget that the PR will increase one day. In fact, any incoming links even at PR0 is valuable as it contribute to your site.

 

I don't think that a PR0 has any value ! Its just that Google ranked your site, nothing valuable, ranks start from 2 or may be 1 but certainly not a 0 one.
