paypal India - Here is Next Problem - Now you can not pay outside

if it is then it seems logical,... personal account being prohibited from paying bills and stuff,.... and business account can keep cash at hand, and pay bills!

but if it is for both, then its just non sense!

Another problem,now Paypal will give conversio rate of 42 than it was giving 44.

 

the way we are dealt with is not a solution for these problems. RBI wants that we shld pay taxes for all we earn . So they should manage it in a proper way rather then screwing people who are earning via freelancing. they should provide a solution rather then complicating the issues. now how would you pay for renewals of domains hosting links whatever.

just for their interest they have made the procedure complicated. if we dont have cc what to do ? if some one disputes payment --who will look into cc disputes?
what if by any reason cc is not accepted by someone what to do ?

the govt is looking into its profits only. not looking into what we put to earn it. we are ready to pay taxes (already paying) --but the channel shld be clear rather then just saying we have stopped you sending payments?

So I guess why so many members have got such phishing email in mass numbers. Is it true that this email really is a false mail, or is it by some error of paypal??

I have not received such an email yet on this from PayPal ! I am sure PayPal servers were compromised in some way and this was a mass scale phishing attempt.

Don't say that dude, its not India creating you problems but the idiots, the so called Indian politicians are doing this..... paying taxes is our duty but they should be reasonable. Our politicians are eating away the resources and now even people.

First we need to elect the right person thats our responsibility... how many of the Indians are participating in the voting?

Had it been a fraudulent email, they would have had at least a link or two included in it. The email has not a single URL and there is no mention of any kind of "login here", "send this info" etc.

 

Well people just making buzz for nothing, did anyone really tried to check mail information, answer is no. My PayPal email is still empty no mail come from PayPal. Also PayPal is nothing doing any changes in such a system as PayPal going to some changes on Personal Remittance around May's second week if they give proper response to RBI on 30th April! If it goes well then we would see Personal Option once again but with amount limitation.

 

A few days ago Paypal sent a mail to Indian user regarding a Debit card and then backtracked, is the company run by monkeys?

I just think that it's time to stop using Paypal for indians .. You can get a 2CO account for 49$ one time fee and receive paypal payments in your 2CO, without paying that much !
