I am not believe on automated submission. I do manually all seo activities. I want to ask one question to those who have created so many directories which are at same IP address, is it worth for them or why should they created? what is the aim of their behind this directory creation?
@insom with all respect, i dont think that you need to go checking IP's to know that a load of link.....info's are not going to be up to much, there are masses of them. Many of us spent ages talking about this up until not too long ago, even tried advising and warning people but to no avail. You haven't really uncovered anything, its just how it is in most online areas, from cheapo directories to autoblogs, if theres on person doing it then theres a thousand people doing it, and some of the people doing it a thousand times over, now you see how messy that makes the WWW.
I use submiteaze and have done for years and have had very good results... So long as I get results I'm not overly concerned.
I believe INFO domains is not the problem at all, but the domain owner. I found some listings with a large number of directories but the owner of all those directories is the same person, usually the software developer to get people filling in such directories, just that.
Could you show some of your website that has good results that your submitted through automatic submission as a proof?
It is not a big deal for me. The problem is their directory list. These kind of softwares still helpful filling the form (and rotating the title/description) and keeping track of your directory submission. Use your own directory list.
these type of schemes never last long. In one sunny morning, a member of google spam team will stumble over submiteaze and rest. From there it's just a few clicks away from banning all network.
I know you are trying to promote your 'mass IP checker' but I believe this was already known to many people. I had the 'link*.info' network in my directory list and spent a day in removing them I am sure some are still left behind. (I will sure be using your IP checker) )
how about making it a big text statement on your software before purchase ? nah didnt think so lmao maybe you should take the time to review each site in your list before charging money for a useless service maybe then a payment is justified crook yeh thats my opinion seo in unclear what the hell you scare the life out me that you are anywehere near this business
I'm with Mr.Submit . This from Directories in data base in any Software. not from software it just save your time to submit websites to directories. If you prefer do that Manual. Sure This will be better but very slow.
I don't think it could ever cost you your Google position-ranking. If that was true, people would install competitors' links on garbage Websites just to destroy them. I am sure you've seen quality sites listed on trash sites. Google takes that into consideration and simply does not assign value to such backlinks. Does anyone agree here?
That's why "Bad link is no link": The worst case is if the link is really bad, Google simply doesn't count it. Your site never gets penalized for incoming link. This is also the reason why we add EVERY free directory to our tool.
Glad you could join us, so now that you know that most of your links are indeed link farms, will you remove them from you're software. (Somehow I don't think so) Now I have been doing some research on this and the ones that are creating this link farms are making about $6-10 a month on these directories. So lets say they duplicate these domains into 1000. With .info domains being cheap (I remember like $2 at one stage. They could buy 1000 domains. and each month make around $10 via paid submission and advertising. Thats $10,000 profit each month for the owner of these directories. Either two situations are happening. The Domain Owners (1000 duplicate domains) Are paying off the software owners. or 2) The Software owners are registering the domains themselves... and forcing them unto users. Thats the scam! Its quite a profitable one, as you could possibly make over $120,000 a year with just 1,000 duplicates. Well some bad news for me as this week it seemed google updated their PR ranking and my webpage has gone down from pr4 to pr3. The only thing I did different was using the link farms from all of the different software... So actually these Directory Software have actually cost me money! Its given me motivation to finish off the testing. I have one more that I've just tested... Its called GSA Auto Website Submitter and it costs $518 for a lifetime License. There are supposedly 4000 directories that will be unlocked when you purchase. Thats alot of directories. Good thing is that they don't hide their directories like the other software which makes it easier for me to test them. I tested about 120 links but the result was suprising any more. 6Km.Info 174.132.192.157 1 8Kg.Info 174.132.192.157 1 0Kb.Info 174.132.192.157 1 1Yc.net 174.132.192.158 1 1Xb.net 174.132.192.158 1 4G2.net 174.132.192.158 1 Code (markup): Classifiedtexas.com 204.50.73.218 0 Classifiedvirginia.com 204.50.73.218 0 Classifiedwashington.com 204.50.73.218 0 Code (markup): linkaccelerator.info 208.66.72.186 unknown (probably site is temporarily unavailable) linkacademy.info 208.66.72.186 unknown (probably site is temporarily unavailable) linkachieve.info 208.66.72.186 0 linkaccept.info 208.66.72.186 unknown (probably site is temporarily unavailable) linkaccepted.info 208.66.72.186 unknown (probably site is temporarily unavailable) linkaccommodate.info 208.66.72.186 0 linkactions.info 208.66.72.186 0 linkaccrual.info 208.66.72.186 0 linkaccountant.info 208.66.72.186 0 linkaces.info 208.66.72.186 0 linkaccrue.info 208.66.72.186 0 linkaccomplish.info 208.66.72.186 0 linkachiever.info 208.66.72.186 0 linkacceptor.info 208.66.72.186 0 linkaccomplice.info 208.66.72.186 0 linkacquire.info 208.66.72.186 0 linkaction.info 208.66.72.186 unknown (probably site is temporarily unavailable) linkactivator.info 208.66.72.186 0 Code (markup): 25I.org 66.28.139.176 1 1414.Info 66.28.139.176 1 1Ae.org 66.28.139.176 0 202U.com 66.28.139.176 0 9Y6.net 66.28.139.176 1 Code (markup): 121Mb.com 74.52.178.130 0 50Links.Info 74.53.110.130 0 Classifiediowa.com 74.53.227.114 0 Classifiedkansas.com 74.53.227.114 1 Classifiedidaho.com 74.53.227.114 0 Classifiedguam.com 74.53.227.114 0 Code (markup): Now the results are about 45% are on duplicate ip's however, thats not testing all directories its possible that the figure could rise to 60% if I tested all of them. The third column is page rank, you can actually see that the most of the directories fail to go above 1. Like the software you can't add your own directories, so half the money you're paying is invested into link farms. I have finished with all the software that I wanted to investigate, final analysis is its not worth buying the software, because there are tools that work with you're browser that can auto fill the forms... It won't cost you a cent... Now I'm going to gather all this useful information and write my article... Thanks everyone for injecting their thoughts into this.
The problem is that leading directories lists (yes, including your) continue adding these "directories" and as long they are offered public forum, these directories will get away with anything they want to. Stop listing them and giving them backlinks and leads to G. where to find them and they will go away fastreplies
I gave up listing the networks of .info directories and networks on the same IP a long time ago. Too much work as they do not stay around very long.
Good, at least somebody start doing right thing. All we have left is for others start doing the same. If I were you, I would start promoting directories that are using single IP used by that directory only and even better if your other directory list start promoting them as the Best instead of promoting directories you yourself declared as useless. And even better yet, you can make list of directories that use dedicated servers starting with DMOZ, AMRAY and a few dozens of others. If you do that, then you will have true best-directories-list. Lead the way my man! fastreplies
