If your site is brand new, has no content at all, and you decide to build 10 000 backlinks - then it's not good.

    In my opinion,
Link building must be slowly but regularly, adding links is also followed by the addition of content

In my opinion it depends on the age of your domain. If it`s older than 1 year, there should be no problem.

If you build quality backlinks that will be more helpful to your site, not quantity.

This is true to a sense.. Most users love to submit their sites to hundreds of directories. I always tell my clients not to because its actually horrible for SEO. Google will see all of these links as duplicate content and it may have a negative vibe on your site. There are Millions of free directories out there, most that dont recieve traffic or even have a domain name that makes sense. I consider this to be link farming..

In fact it incorporate all. Always build quality backlinks. Only this will be helpful. Scrap does support your site.

Build backlink on regular basis. If you domain is older then you have no problem if you are generating a lot of backlinks.

Your backlink should support your site theme and content as well, then only you enjoy the full benefit.

Yep if you spam, then it will be flagged up in Google. Try and keep it organic, no more than say 10 links per day is my personal view.

If your site has fewer than one year old, your site would be considered as new and the high spike of "low quality" inbound links would be harm more than help. I would recommend you keep build link in steady pace to be safe.

    Please be noted
    - Quality does matter over Quantity as always. :)

Quality > Quantity its better to spend the time finding 1 great link rather than spamming 1000 directory links

10 to 15 quality link submissions a day is better than a 100 link submission blast to free directories.

From my previous experiences, having a huge amount of backlinks to a new site will not cause a problem IF the links are of high quality.

In the past, I used to aim for thousands of spammed backlinks within a week and thus leading to my site being punished.

However, it is still possible to build thousands of links to a new site and have them of good quality - Which, as I've seen, leads to great ranking improvements.

No. Gaining links fast can not hurt your site, even if they are low quality spammy links.

If it could, I could drop 20,000 spam links to my competitors overnight and destroy them. Then make them pay me to remove the links.

It doesn't matter but don't expect your rankings to make a quick jump in google, if they do, then that's a bonus.
